Tour de France

Les Magnolias is situated in Tour de France territory, in the ancient village of Plaisance.  The Haute Pyrenees are just south west of the small village, the Alps in the east and the Mediterranean in the south east. In 2013, the tour turned 100 years old and one of the stages arrived at the UNESCO town of Albi, just 40 kms from Plaisance.  In 2014 the tour will have a rest day and departure at the beautiful medieval town of Carcassonne, also close to Plaisance.  The tour will also pass through a few Mediterranean towns close to the village.
